How it all started...
For millennia, the rugged Northern climate has shaped plants with remarkable resilience and healing properties. Their deep roots, bitter leaves, and tough bark have long been used to mend wounds and sustain life.
Today, in the 21st century, we put these time-honored herbal remedies to the test—examined by doctors, refined in cutting-edge laboratories, and transformed into skincare that nourish the skin at its core.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
We use around 600 ingredients within product formulations, and around 95% of them are certified organic, made with sustainable farming methods. Each ingredient and formulation is carefully tested and checked for several quality parameters.

ORGANIC. NATURAL. CERTIFIED.
Skincare products are part of our daily routine, but many contain hidden carcinogens and harmful chemicals that accumulate over time. Our commitment is to provide clean, safe, and effective skincare that nurtures your skin without compromising your health.
All of our products are natural and organic certified, expert-developed and produced at our factory in Riga, Latvia.

Harnessing the power of nature, we derive our potent actives from revitalizing birch water, antioxidant-rich herbs, and even nutrient-dense mushrooms. These natural extracts provide the highest concentrations of essential nutrients, working to enhance and restore the skin’s health.
Skincare is more than just a routine.
It’s a connection people make with themselves. And at Curaid, our goal is to help people build beauty brands that prioritize clean products, kind to both skin and the Earth.
Curaid is committed to creating products that are effective, but never compromise the environment.
The skincare industry is broken and under-regulated, especially in the US. The European Union bans or restricts over 1,600 cosmetic ingredients, while the US – fewer than 20.
Why does it matter? Because clean beauty means responsibility. And ignoring it leads to shortcuts: packing products with harmful ingredients that, over time, can cause significant health and environmental damage. It’s done to save money, give the impression of more effective product performance, or extend product shelf life — often at the expense of consumer safety.
Curaid doesn’t cut corners. We don’t use cheap ingredients. And we don’t mess with the health of our customers or the environment they live in.
In short, Curaid cares about what people put on their skin and how it impacts both them and the planet. That’s why we always share full lists of ingredients for each product and never hide behind vague labels like “proprietary blends.”
Curaid refuses to use ingredients that are linked to toxicity, hormone disruption, or cancer.
To keep ourselves accountable, we have the Curaid Clean Beauty Standard — a strict, no-compromise set of guidelines that every product in our catalog follows.
100% cruelty free
Every product is developed without harming any living creature, now or in the future.
Vegan formulations
Our products contain no animal-derived ingredients, except for beeswax. The production of beeswax is strictly regulated to make sure sustainability is top priority.
No carcinogens
We avoid ingredients with links to cancer. We carefully review the research and make decisions based on the best available evidence.
No parabens
We completely eliminate parabens which have been linked to hormone disruption and potential reproductive harm.
No phthalates
Phthalates are known endocrine disruptors and have been banned in the EU but still used in the US. We refuse to put them in any of our formulas.
No SLS sulfates
SLS sulfates strip natural oils and disrupt the skin barrier. Our cleansers and shampoos get the job done without the damage.
No benzines
We exclude benzene and its derivatives due to their potential health risks, including links to toxicity and contamination concerns.
No silicones & siloxanes
We ban all silicones and siloxanes due to their harmful buildup in the body and environment.
No toxic preservatives
You won’t find any toxic preservatives, such as formaldehyde, BHA, and others, in our products because they’re linked to toxicity and irritation.
No toxic pigments
We ban synthetic dyes, coal tar, carbon black, and talc, which have been linked to health concerns.
No toxic fragrances
If fragrance is used, it’s natural or organic and free from phthalates and synthetic musks.
